WHY GK MICE

The hardest part of a corporate event
is not finding a venue.

It is moving 300 people through the same rhythm — meeting, eating, travelling and enjoying themselves — while flights, weather and last-minute changes stay under control.

G K Travel has been operating in Singapore since 2016. We bring the delivery experience from study tours, MICE and private journeys into every corporate programme. You are not dealing with a reseller; you are dealing with a local team that can be on site and make decisions.

  • Locally licensed and compliant; contracts, insurance and supplier credentials can be verified
  • English / Chinese project managers and on-site delivery
  • Own transport fleet, guide pool and long-standing venue relationships
  • Costs itemised, so you know what is inside the “package”

Team building has more than one answer.

The same word — “fun” — can mean ice-breaking, collaboration, recognition, reflection, or simply letting the team breathe.

A private yacht, sailing or kayaking, followed by a sunset deck dinner. Ideal for reward teams and the evening before an annual meeting.

  • Optional event photography

  • Awards and performances
  • Bilingual hosting
03

A three-day corporate programme, for reference.

Not a fixed template — an example of how a meeting, team building, dinner and a company visit can share one journey without fighting each other.

DAY 1

Arrival · check-in · welcome dinner

Airport meet-and-greet, hotel check-in, welcome dinner at Marina Bay or in the hotel. The project manager aligns the next two days on site.

  • Meet-and-greet / corporate fleet
  • Hotel check-in and welcome amenity
  • Welcome dinner + programme briefing
DAY 2

Team building · awards dinner

Morning team building, afternoon free time or a facilitated review. In the evening, the annual meeting or awards dinner brings the day into one room.

  • Beach / yacht / city team building
  • Review or free time
  • Annual meeting, awards and performances
DAY 3

Company visit / city experience · departure

Depending on the group: a company visit, government or association exchange, or a curated city experience. Airport transfer in the afternoon.

  • Company visit / industry exchange
  • City culture experience
  • Group airport transfer and luggage support

Reference only. Final routing depends on group size, budget, flights and venue availability. Four- and five-day versions, plus Singapore–Malaysia extensions, are available.

THE GK STANDARD

Why teams
choose G K.

“Make 30 people move like 10,
and 300 like 30.”
01

A licensed local team

STB highest-level licence and NATAS membership. Contracts, insurance and supplier credentials can be verified; risk is not left to the day.

02

Bilingual delivery

English / Chinese project managers and on-site crew. International and local teams work in the same room without three layers of translation.

03

The Pro-MICE system

A dedicated on-site PM, ABC contingency plans, direct medical contacts and a stop-work mechanism. When something changes, someone can decide.

04

Our own resource pool

278 drivers and guides, about 200 active licensed guides and about 300 project staff. Peak season is a resourcing question, not a surprise.

05

Transparent pricing

No shopping stops, no forced spend, no hidden commission. Venue, catering, staging, transport and crew are itemised.

05

From one sentence to one event.

You do not need a finished brief. Give us the goal, the group size and the dates; we can shape the rest together.

01

Brief

Goal, group size, dates, budget, venue preferences and must-haves.

02

Proposal & budget

Two or three routes, itemised costs, clear inclusions and exclusions.

03

Venue & suppliers

Availability, contracts and supplier lock-in; key decisions in writing.

04

Pre-event

Rooming, transport, collateral, guests and on-site flow.

05

On-site delivery

PM on site, bilingual crew, contingency plans and live coordination.

06

Review & settlement

Feedback, photography, final costs and recommendations for next time.

First proposals usually take 3–5 business days; urgent projects can be accelerated. Venue availability is subject to confirmation.

06

The right venue matters more than the longest list.

We select venues around the event goal, group size, budget and flow — not one venue sold to every team.

Convention & meetings

Marina Bay Sands Expo · Suntec Singapore · Singapore Expo · Raffles City Convention Centre

Hotels & dinners

The Fullerton · Raffles Hotel · St. Regis · Shangri-La · Resorts World Sentosa

City & nature

Gardens by the Bay · National Gallery · ArtScience Museum · Sentosa · Southern Ridges

Waterfront & unique

ONE°15 Marina · Sentosa Cove · Keppel Bay · CHIJMES · Kampong Glam

Examples of venue types, not a claim of fixed partnerships or availability. Minimum spend, access and build rules are subject to contract.

FAQ

The questions we hear most.

Can't find an answer? Send us the brief — we usually reply within one business day.

What group sizes do you handle?

Our regular corporate groups are 10–500. 30–300 is the most common range; 500+ can be delivered with venue and supplier partners and a longer lead time.

How far ahead should we start?

For 30–100 guests, 4–6 weeks; 100–300, 6–8 weeks; 300+, 8–12 weeks. Chinese New Year, May, summer, National Day and year-end are peak periods — venues and hotels should be locked earlier.

What does a quote include?

Venue, catering, staging and AV, transport, crew, insurance and collateral are itemised. Flights, visas and personal spend are usually excluded. Every proposal states what is and is not included.

Can we book team building without a meeting?

Yes. You can also book a single MICE component — venue, dinner, transport, guide or exhibition hosting — and we will quote only that scope.

What happens if it rains?

Outdoor programmes have indoor fallbacks. The delivery team prepares ABC contingencies, switches routes on the day and, if needed, invokes the stop-work mechanism.

Can you provide invitation letters?

We can assist with invitation letters and itinerary documents for visa applications. Visa decisions remain with the embassy or consulate; we do not guarantee approval.

Can you deliver in English and Chinese?

Yes. We provide English / Chinese project managers, bilingual hosting, simultaneous interpretation and translated materials. Mixed-language groups can be split by language.

How do contracts and payment work?

Contracts are signed with the Singapore entity and paid by milestone; invoices are available. Terms, cancellation policy and payment schedule are confirmed in the contract.
